The champion of Godlike. It's got a ring to it, not unlike Godslayer. Finally having won a championship after seasons upon seasons of trying and being narrowly denied, Yuri's returned to the arena to defend his honour and teach some newbies a thing or two about fighting spirit! Velna, one of the newest entrants into Godlike from Legaia 2: Duel Saga, is about to get a warm welcome to the DL's toughest division. Velna's Origin Vestra's physical immunity combined with Velna's own immunity to magic is a nightmare for most fighters, but thanks to Yuri's Dark Seraphim fusion, he's got all his bases covered: For the Child obliterates Vestra, and an Energy Charged Inferno attack will paste Velna. A casting of For Everyone will keep Yuri fighting tough and prevent Velna or Vestra from taking him down, and the healing properties of For Tomorrow should repair any damage the Mysic Lady happens to inflict upon him. The champion is here to stay! Hail to the king, baby!

Godslayer? Champion? Mere titles, and ones that mean nothing before the might of the Origin of Time. Like some others who have made their mark in the League, the newcomer Velna is fully immune to any and all magic, which is a rather nice trick for taking care of most of Yuri’s offense, as well as his only way to replenish his limited magical reserves. Couple this with powerful magical damage of her own, and she has a deadly combination in her hands. Then she summons her origin, Vestra, and it’s all downhill from there. After her Origin is given physical form, killing Velna herself becomes a bit of a waste of time, as Vestra will revive her and keep up the assault on the Harmonixer at the same time. And just as Velna is immune to magic, so is Vestra immune to physical damage, as well as rather resistant to any magic. Can Yuri overcome not one, but TWO foes, each of Godlike caliber in their own right? Only Time will tell, but Time is, and has always been, on Velna’s side…

n the judge's box, Myria, Squall and Lexis stared at the silent Arena. Along with the entire audience. The perverts were silent. The Classic Evildoers' Union had fallen mute. Even Poshul wasn't yapping.
"Will... someone... please explain... what we just saw?!?" Lexis exclaimed.
"I wasn't aware some people had that sort of fetish..." Squall murmured.
"I wonder where Velna got that collar for Yuri." Myria pondered. Hearing nothing again, she glanced toward Squall and Lexis, who had proceeded to stare at her instead. "What? Even goddesses have their needs. Still, that was disturbing. I wonder how they even met?"
"That, I can answer." The three looked over to see Edge leaning on the edge of the box. "Velna read up on her opponent, and... leapt to the conclusion that he was powerful enough to enter into a sustained fusion with... his own harem of Origins."
"...oh."
"Yeah. She arranged to meet him in a bar three days ago, and in return for her throwing out the match..."
"...oh."
"Couldn't Yuri have just beaten her?" Squall asked.
"Would you harm that pretty face?" Edge countered. Lexis gave a weak grin.
"And what of Alice and Karin?"
"They demanded pictures and the collar after Velna's done."
Myria's grin almost split the heavens. "I approve. Let's get ready for the next match, shall we?"
