Ah, is it not a wondrous thing when true Gods are brought to face against each other? Especially in a division full of those who are merely "like" them? Fou-Lu certainly thinks so, and for the second week in a row he is blessed with a divine opponent. But unlike the mere Valkyrie Hrist, Deis is not only a goddess but another Endless, just like Fou-Lu himself. This does not, however, mean that she is on the same level as the three-time champion. No, while the draconic God Emperor may respect his fellow Endless, it will not save Deis from a swift and brutal defeat at the claws of the highest-ranked dueler in the entire league. 'Tis foolish, even for one of his race, to stand between Fou-Lu and the fourth championship that he craves. |

Two of the Endless coming to blows is a cosmic event. Be they two halves of a whole or separate immortals working at cross purposes, when all is said and done the combat will surely be the stuff legends are made of. Today, it's time for another legend to be made as Deis takes on Fou Lu. The fundamental battle will be one of occult power; dragonbreath versus spells, Shedding vs vast pools of HP. To win, Deis can employ a steady stream of fire and lightning magic, more than enough to mount a solid offense against the Emperor. When wounded, she merely needs to shed her skin, which fully reinvigorates her. With this, Deis can play the long game and weather the storm of Fou Lu, then knock him down altogether. |
