However, never again he managed to replicate the success of his Season 9 run, and that just won't do. After a humiliating loss to Tir McDohl, the heroic rebel will have a chance to revive his past laurels by defeating the Arc Angel Altima. Trusty Vandal Heart in tow and an infinite supply of healing in hand, Ash can certainly outslug this pathetic angel. Sure, the Grand Cross attack may disable Ash permanently if it connects, but its inaccuracy will be Ash's triumph. Not to mention that Ash's mighty Vandal Heart sword strikes will make the wretched angel scream in agony while he cleaves such evil, like a hero should. With a new chance to prove his worth, Ash Lambert will finally relive his glorious past! |

With AllUltima, two powerful forms and Grand Cross to slaughter her foes, the Death Angel will reap souls and sow madness and destruction, the Godlike arena her giant field of dreams! And the first dead flower to ornate her garden of horrors is this so-called Vandalier, Ash Lambert, who foolishly dreams of reviving his ancient glories in the arena. Ha! As if Altima would allow pipe dreams to come true! All she needs to end this wannabe hero's delusions once and for all is a casting of Grand Cross! After all, Ash would fit a mad garden far better than an anointed Elysium - and the highest podium is where Altima belongs! |

A champion of justice, Ash lives nobly, for all that is good, right, and holy. In a very simple way, Ash opposes everything that Altima stands for. On the other hand, he embodies it as well. Who could possibly win this struggle? --- Ash stood, red-faced, for a moment. Then holy lightning struck from the sky, destroying him utterly. Had Altima conquered him? "...It's amazing what embracing a man in such a form can do." Altima noted, gazing down at her own scantily clad Holy Angel form. That's right. Ash, the purest of the pure, the chosen Paragon, had been struck down for having impure thoughts. Well, it's not like he's the first person to get their life ruined by a girl, as Squall, Dart, Mario, Alicia and Lavitz can testify. Ultimately, the main problem is that Ash keeps getting struck down, even after the match, however. Such impure thoughts really aren't becoming of him. Even though he can't figure out what they are.
