Who is this fool that would dare to challenge Lady? Did he not see the carnage she wrought in the previous season? The silent predator tore her way through four opponents then, and she’s looking to repeat the cycle once again. Her Pokemon opponent may be the master of telekinesis, but no amount of mind power can prevent the multi-pronged onslaught of Lady and her Malice Umbral. With the ability to hit her opponent with both potent physical attacks as well as with searing magical ones, on top of being able to take advantage of Mewtwo’s vulnerability to darkness, Lady looks to add yet another corpse to the already growing pile. Considering her ever expanding body count, perhaps they gave the nickname of Killer to the wrong person.

The psychic kitty has been through many ordeals as the League's arbiter and executioner. While he is aware of the problems that facing the very embodiment of Malice can bring, he is not afraid. Sadly, his hellish buffing game won't take place, as Lady's Lost Progress will undo Amnesia. However, with his nigh-impenetrable magic defense and his own blistering offense and speed, he will have an edge in the battle. All he needs to do is to withstand one turn of Lady's magical onslaught, and then his flesh-rending Psychic attacks will make short work of her. With a staggering speed edge over the malicious entity, Mewtwo will win the initiative and finish this as fast as he can - even if it means taking a brutal beating before his job can be done.

Unlike the last white haired Godlike to tangle with Lady, Mewtwo has common sense. Attempting to mind control Lady was worthless- even if he could get her to murder Killer, it'd just make her madder. And even gaining that level of control was iffy at best, as Lady's mind was completely alien, even by DL standards.
Mewtwo's plan was simple in the extreme. Hiding and jumping lady with a single super buffed Psychic was good. It was a smart move. It did him no good, as Lost Progress instantly dispelled Amnesia. His unprepped Psychic was powerful, strong enough to fell many a Godlike in one blow. The living incarnation of Malice just shook from the blow. Lady was still on her feet, and judging by the raw energy she was gathering, her counter attack was going to be overkill.
Mewtwo's frantic attempts to float out of the way worked. Sort of. The blow merely grazed Mewtwo and sent him flying out of the arena, instead of turning him into paste. A hallow victory to be sure, but better than getting completely wiped out by a single attack.
