Heh. So this girl Shania fights by morphing into unearthly beings and channeling their abilities? Well, Virgil knows a bit about transformation himself, and his mighty Gnosis form should teach Shania a brutal lesson in the proper application of power. Few fighters can withstand the wrath of Eternal Storm once it's been boosted with Ether Veil...well, Shania might just be one of them, given her wide array of stat-buffing spells, so Virgil's victory here is likely to come from something more prosaic: status. The crippling Stop Arrow does exactly what it sounds like, freezing Shania in her tracks and leaving her helpless to stop the ensuing beatdown.

With her arch-enemy Lady already defending a championship, Shania has a lot to live up to - and her battle starts here. Virgil might be confident in his abilities, but transforming into Tirawa gives Shania a nifty speed boost which will sharpen her fighting edge and keep her on the ball in this fight. Her own buffing spells will make a mockery of any show he might care to put on, her healing will hold up against his attacks and her Sun Flare will do the damage to clear him from her path on the way to her next match. Shania comes from a long line of powerful and victorious line of Spirit Shamans. Do you really think she'd give up so easily?

Shania was frustrated. If she didn't grind enough levels out of the three matches before the destined Godlike finals with her nemesis Lady, then surely Lady's taint of Malice would take her even in victory. Hmm... how could she find vast hordes of monsters to fight and thus purify herself? It'd be good practice for her warmup fight with this "Virgil" character, anyhoo.
It turns out that accepting a mysterious man cloaked in blue's "help" wasn't such a wise idea. The good news was that Shania found plenty of Gnosis to fight against! The bad news is that they were the size of starships, ate her, and carried her into deep space, leaving the smiling Virgil to pick up a forfeit victory against the still absent Shania.
