Once more, Fou-Lu the dragon god has ripped open a path to the DL finals, and as history repeats itself, so too shall Fou-Lu again claim a title. The psychic cat that dares stand before the dragon god can claim speed and magical defense in his favor, but neither of those things will save him from the devastation of the defense ignoring Dark Wave. Once Mewtwo has gotten a taste of that attack, the kitten will find itself crawling back and wishing for its mother. Or if the Emperor feels a little more sadistic, he can apply Malefiction and Soul Rend to poison the Pokemon and let that prove fatal after reducing the cat to one hit point. Either way, Fou-Lu's reign over another season is secure. |

It's finally happened. After all the seasons and years of stigma, of not being taken seriously, a pokemon has made it to the Godlike finals. Can it win? Quite likely. Fou-Lu's defense doesn't protect him against Mewtwo's psychic attacks, and he needs all his health to muster the full strength of Dark Wave - one Psychic ought to weaken it enough that Mewtwo can heal it off with Recover. Alternatively, Mewtwo could blitz him by opening with Amnesia, shrugging off a hit, then humbling the so-called dragon god with a pair of Psychics. Fou-Lu is not in his element here, and the scheming genius Mewtwo has plenty of options to exploit his weaknesses and win a well-deserved Godlike title. |
Barubary Against anyone else I'd of voted for Mewtwo to win. Tragically he is fighting the best of the best that Godlike has to offer. Well Mewtwo you finally came into your own. To bad you fought Fou-Lu... Fou-Lu: 23 Lezard Valeth
