Ugh. Isode was hoping that winning a Godlike championship would stop these kinds of delinquents from pestering her. At the very least, Mitsuo deserves the very long suspension Isolde is about to put him on (way more than Vayne and friends, anyway). At least Mitsuo is a pretty good student. His durability tricks are halfway decent, but all the double-turns in the world won't stop Isolde from pasting him once his alter-ego shield is down. It won't take her more than two times with her damage, and with Mitsuo's damage eating reduction, it'll be a fruitless battle in the end for him. By the time Isolde is done assigning all the extra homework, there'll be no time for TV for Mitsuo.

Another challenger, eh? And this time it's actually a villain! Much better than fighting another old-school protagonist. Well, stomping any and all enemies is what MITSUO THE HERO is all about, and no teacher's going to push him around - he knows just how to show teachers who's boss, and just think of the XP he'll get for this one! Mitsuo's pixellated avatar should stand him in good stead here, taking the brunt of Isolde's opening barrage, and maybe her Sword Creation limit as well if he can time everything right. Mitsuo's status game might not be of much use given Isolde's immunities, but Megidola should be more than enough to teach her not to meddle with youthful RPG heroes!

The place? A deep bowel of the DL Arena. The people? Mitsuo Kubo's shadow and Isolde Schilling. Their mission? Serving out a well earned detention.
"I am a shadow, the true self."
Isolde rolled her eyes, the deep roll that can only be the response of a life-long educator to teenage angst. "That's great. Really. Are you ready for your lesson or not".
"I am you, and you are me."
The educator rubbed her eyes wearily. Why did she sign up for this again? Beating the little punk to death would have been much easie... wait, this was the Duelling League.
"Well, we're just about done, Mr. Emo Wangsty Shadow Form. Would you prefer slow and horrible or sudden and painful? Ah, but why not both." And so Isolde used her entire impressive repertoire of attacks in sequence, probably finishing Mitsuo off somewhere in the middle of it.
Isolde smiled. Right. Not matter what ridiculous match conditions you agree to, you still win if you just say to hell with it and beat your opponent to death. It was never too late for that.
Isolde Schelling: 28
Mitsuo Kubo: 7
