Season 28, Week 3
Lloyd
(Legend of Dragoon)

The Wingly proved his superiority in the air against the Lady of Gales, and now, he faces... a boy with a baseball bat. This is just pathetic. So, a mere child wants to challenge Lloyd, his ideals, his desire? Let it be, then. The Wingly shall simply bombard the idiotic psychic kid with his mighty spells, keeping him at bay and unable to mount a sizable offense. With constant double-turns, Ness cannot break out of Lloyd's cycle of destruction. This isn't a match worthy of Lloyd's calibur, but, if he wants to meet Fou-Lu and extract vengeance, a fly must be swatted.

Godlike's youngest slugger faces a foe of the same mold as last week: Fast, but not damaging enough to put a dent in Ness' monstrous durability. With Recover to keep Ness healed and his mighty bat to whack his foe senseless, Ness is ready to show Godlike once again that young definitely doesn't mean weak. Lloyd is faster, but he lacks the healing Ness possesses, and so he will fall short in this complete slugfest. It might be hilarious for as serious and determined a man as Lloyd to fall to a little kid with a baseball bat, but that doesn't make Lloyd's fall any less certain.

Some matches are exciting, invigorating, and horribly frightening.

Such as this one!

Yes, there's nothing like a bishie assaulting a young boy to really get the blood pumping, is there?

Ness certainly thought so, as he ran (silently) screaming far, far from the arena.

Turns out all you need is a simple rumor that all Godlike bishies are like Albedo, for some fights.

Unfortunately for Lloyd, now Choko's hitting on him. She likes mature, distinguished older men who are clearly evil.

Sometimes, when you win, you lose.

Getting tackle-hugged by Choko counts as losing, at least on some level. But not on the arena's.

Lloyd: 37
Ness: 33

Rolling HP respect makes me vote Ness, honestly (and sadly). Lloyd almost has it, but my calcs give Ness his healing right before he dies. So... yeah.
