Dr. Uzuki is certainly not the opponent Magus felt like fighting on his return to the ring, it must be confessed. The rather annoying swordsman with a fake name has the elemental skills, speed, and healing potential to nullify Magus' greatest asset, the mighty barrier he can call forth to defend him. Indeed, even trying to defeat Citan in a battle of attrition is probably some kind of slow suicide--hardly a suitable strategy for the clever warlock this season. It's a good thing Magus is nearly as versatile as his devious opponent, because his little-used PC form may have the answer to this problem. It won't be the most elegant of strategies, but Magus can simply banish Citan to another dimension through the use of his Black Hole spell, ensuring a quick and brutal victory. Sometimes a simple solution is all a complex problem needs, and Citan will definitely be simplified out of this season.

Citan Uzuki, despite his competence and foresight, hasn't experienced the tense environment of the Duelling League in a long time. However, this new berth in the Godlike fields should serve as an interesting experience for Hyuga Ricdeau. In a truly fascinating matchup, Citan is up against the legendary sorcerer Magus, hailing from Zeal and quite well-known for his terrifying elemental magic mastery. But, as interesting as this fight may be, Citan holds the cards to win: with his elemental deathblows, the good doctor can easily circumvent Magus' obnoxious elemental shields. The poor damage from Magus' counters and spells can be easily warded off with castings of Sazanami, and Renki will give Citan the massive speed edge needed to overwhelm the dark magician. This should be a fairly by-the-book fight, and Citan Uzuki can deal with those better than anyone.

Meeplelard
Both Magus and Citan, agreeing that in terms of combat and intelligence they were equals, decided to face this match in a completely different light.
Of course, neither was going to fall for each others suggestions, so they chose things the old fashion way, that being a randomized Roulette, Lottery, whatever. Point is, it was randomly chosen!
The result? Super Robot Wars Style Battles, complete with giant mechs and everything
...Magus just forfeited, as losing his pride in this case is far better than losing his dignity, given he didn't know the first thing about piloting giant robots.
Magus (Janus Zeal): 27
Citan Uzuki (Hyuga Ricdeau): 43
