False Althena may not be a true goddess, but Zophar the destroyer, one of the most feared Godlikes, has gifted her with more than enough power to destroy Rika. After all, the destructive power of Ray is one of the most powerful attacks in the DL, and unfortunately, for the catgirl, she has no way to lessen either lightning or magical damage. To make matters worse, Ray is shot off at a blistering speed, meaning Rika may not even get a single turn. False Althena could practically win this match without getting up out of bed. With such easily dispatched opponents, False Althena finally has a shot at a championship well-deserved. |

Three incarnations of Dark Force, Profound Darkness... Rika has enough experience fighting real gods in her life. How then, pray tell, should a fake god stand up to one who stood against the true embodiment of evil? The answer is: It doesn't. False Althena will have her fibbing little hands full with this bundle of cat-like energy. While Rika's instant death moves won't work, her insane arsenal of buffs, healing and physical skills still leaves her with a lot to work with. Rika is aching to get another shot at a Godlike final this season, and with no Ghaleon in sight to ruin all her fun and joy, she just may have what it takes to win it all! |
DragonKnight Zero In-game this is a one-sided battle. False Althena can one hit KO PCs without lightning resistance. Rika is a PC with no lightning resistant equipment, the third lowest Mental score in her cast among non-androids, and no magic defense buffs. Also, unlike Lunar 2 Complete, False Althena can fire this off every round. However, Ray is fired at close range only. Rika has superior agility and can spend the whole match far enough away to dodge. Unfortunately, while Rika can last more than 15 seconds this way, she has no long range attacks. The moment she attempts any offensive move, she's going to be flatlined. The best she can do is a stalemate it appears. Little of this came into play in the arena though... - Match Day - Much of the Dueling League also believed this would be a one-sided battle. Rika's friends aside, most of the audience consisted of perverts eager to witness False Althena violating a flatlined Rika in ways inappropriate to describe. "What do you mean Rika's not showing?" "She can't make it." repeated Demi. "Rika trained extensively to prepare for this battle. Well, she didn't realize when she reached Level 99, continued to train, and glitched her Max HP to 0. Master Wren is fixing her up but won't be finished in time for Rika to compete." "Well then False Althena wins." muttered Dias, omitting further comment. "Oh, good." yawned Noel, glad that an animal, even a partial animal would not be harmed. "Who asked you sissy? How did that wimp ever become a judge?" "Why don't we become friends?" droned Noel. A thrown brick was Xenobia's answer. "I guess not." was the reply as Noel retreated. "That was no fun." complained Zidane. "Whatever." muttered Rune. "Look, go complain with Chaz, he's over there." Zidane rattled off his dirty thoughts to Chaz. Chaz did not take kindly to how Zidane spoke about his wife. Alys wasn't too happy either. The two blasted Zidane from two sides with a Firestorm combo and when Zidane leaped at one, the other tagged him in the back with an instant death skill. They sent the remains to Neifirst.
