The mighty serpent sorceress Deis awakens from her always essential beauty sleep for a Duelling League gig, hoping for pretty faces and wanton destruction and all she gets is a glorified electrical wardrobe or something. That won't do, that -just won't do-. Oh well, she could at least extract wanton destruction: with a few castings of BoltX, this so-called Fortress of the Gods should blow up, and it's so slow and inaccurate that odds are she'll do it in before it finishes walking towards Deis to connect a punch. Mercifully short, totally unnecessary, but maybe entertaining. Oh well, here's hoping for actual eye-candy next week, eh? |

Fortress of the Gods is a pretty impressive title, and it's one that Asgard bears proudly. Being called a "fortress" it should be no surprise that his power in a fight stems from his ability to turn a normally defensive trick, a barrier, into a crippling offense to break his opponents. And cripple, or outright kill, is exactly what he's going to do to Deis with his magnificent Wide Barrier. It will not be easy for the serpentine witch to burn through Asgard's quite impressive defenses before succumbing to the powerful, massive Wide Barrier. In fact, Asgard is willing to bet that it's well past difficult, and definitely closing in on impossible. |
SageAcrin Ahhhh, the life of a snake woman. Glamour. Fortune. Fame. --- "You know, it's pretty sad when a perfectly intelligence robot gets hit with lightning a few times. Suddenly it's a flaming music video director." Gallows noted, as he watched Asgard tell "Deis, baby, darling" to pose more sexily for the camera. The judges, disgusted by this horrific display, had long since awarded Deis the win. Deis, of course, wasn't satisfied. Also, Asgard really caught her good side. "...um...I don't....I don't think that's a rule, Gallows." Clive sighed. "You sure?" "...I can't say that I am, no." "Huh." Sadly, Beatrice happened to overhear this argument. And so, 80% of the duelling league's robots were electrocuted before her spree was stopped. Sadly, results were inconclusive. How can results be inconclusive as to if robots AI repattern into swishy directors? Well, let's just say Robo tried hitting on Paine and coordinating home decoration and leave it at that. Deis: 31 |
