The fight? Oh, it's as simple as looking good in all black. Zio's blessed with the toughness granted to him by the various Dark Forces of the PS universe, making him extremely hard to blitz. Jessica relies on Magic Burst to do her fighting for her, as she lacks the healing or staying power to otherwise stand in Godlike. A few uses of Black Wave or Zio's deadly physical should put her down for the count. The important matters? Zio's hair. Do you know how long it takes to look that good? That Trent guy is just a knockoff, he doesn't have a tenth of Zio's brooding good looks or appeal to the ladies. Taste Black Wave and beg for more, you pathetic losers! Bask in Zio's greatness! |

The heir to the hallowed Albert household once again tries her hand in the steep fields of DL Godlike, and, this time, she's not leaving without a win! And she's up against a type all too familiar: Zio, a mindless black magician serving a dark god, is just about the archetypal kind of flunkie Jessica got used to handling in her travels with Guv and his merry entourage. And, while durable he may be, he is also slow and unable to handle the blitzing power of Tensioned Magic Bursts. So, as soon as Jessica gets a few turns to charge, her powered-up destruction salvo will handle this servant of evil as easily as it would anything else. Nothing like a return to her evilslaying ways, indeed. |
Joou Ranbu Zio expected to be able to outmatch Jessica in every way. After all, he was blessed with the powers of the Profound Darkness, and far more accomplished than the gypsy-looking mage could ever hope to be in the arcane arts. Not to mention he looked prettier and used better hair products than that s- ahem. Anyhow, he was better in every way that he thought to matter. Sadly, he forgot about pandering. And, since he was to fight Jessica in a beauty contest, this was the biggest deal. You see, while Zio in a one-piece brazilian bikini might have its niches as a fantasy (albeit all the wrong ones), Jessica's generous cleavage and more feminine-looking features (...) certainly brought her ahead, not to mention she has plenty of suits to appease to her public. As such, when Sten and Brahne began bludgeoning Zio for his clothing, nobody was surprised. Jessica herself didn't cause much of an impression, but apathy is enough to overcome searing pain. And that was quite possibly the most pointless win Jessica ever garnered in the Duelling League. Zio, on the other hand, still can't go outside his quarters without wearing a burka under penalty of being lynched by angry mobs. Zio: 25 RadLink5
