The struggles of savages against the nobility may not be news for Lucia, but she certainly hasn't seen an opponent as formidable as the princess of Renais. Eirika may have many of the typical traits of an ironhead, but she's far swifter and deadly than just about any Zexen Knight. The Grasslander sadly lacks the tools to deal with Eirika's sickening evasion and counterstrikes, and her poor durability leaves her liable to the brutal attacks of the princess' Sieglinde blade. The Karayan chief may not be willing to lose to an ironhead again, but, against Eirika, losing is all but certain. |

Kayara's leading lady knows how to blaze a trail - her unholy alliance to the Highland Kingdom shows this, as does her domination over her tribe. While she is a stellar leader and dangerous fighter, she's a mother first. No mother is going to want her son to date such a clueless twit like Erikia - so out comes the whip! And if the threat of the lash doesn't teach Eirika to stay away from mommy's favorite Flame Champion, Lucia's blistering fire magic and abrasive whip strikes will flay Erikia alive before the dense girl can so much as raise her Rapier to defend herself. |
SageAcrin "So, if I attack you, I get countered and stabbed to death." Lucia mused, as the judges readied themselves for the ensuing battle. "Yeah, I think so." Eirika nodded, wondering where this was going. "And if I cast spells, you can dodge them. And then I get stabbed to death." "Yeah. I don't really get why anyone else here can't, but..." "And if I stand still, you just stab me to death." "I guess I'd have to." Eirika shrugged. "So, we're agreed that this is pointless and that there's only one thing to do." "...Um...yeah, I think I know what you mean." Eirika nodded, as she turned her back on Lucia. And so, Eirika stabbed the hiding Sten to death while Lucia proceeded to casually snag Sephiroth's clothes off with a remarkably well placed whip crack, then run out of the the arena. (Nearby witnesses claim that she was saying something about woobs. None of them thought they heard that right though.) There may have been a lack of communication there, between Eirika and Lucia, as well. Regardless, both got what they wanted, and Eirika won on both technicality of ringout and due to the fact that Sephiroth was one of the judges. Eirika: 36 |
