The Trickster God is faced with a his toughest challenge yet this week: halting the meteoric rise of the Horns of Valmar through the ranks of Godlike. He must face blistering speed, status boosts, and the ubiquitous Quake. However, Loki has his own tricks up his sleeve. His ridiculously high physical defense means he can all but completely ignore Melfice's famous Wailing Soul Slash, allowing him to tough it out against the speed demon's onslaught - hopefully long enough to wipe Melfice out with a powerful Indiscriminate or devour all of hiss parts at once with Extension Force. Loki's nigh-immunity to the demon's swordplay could end of the rise of Valmar's minion, paving the way to Valkyrie Profile's first Godlike championship. |

Valmar's nastiest minion has left a bloody trail this season. He's slaughtered an Archangel and a Lich, and that was just a warm up! Melfice relies on his hellish speed game this week, as he seeks to strike down yet another of Valkyrie Profile's godlikes. Cold will drop Loki's already unimpressive speed to pitiful levels, and Speedy boosts Melfice's already legendary celerity to something nearly unheard of. Alhealer can easily overcome the worst of Loki's brutal Extension Force, and not even the Trickster God can take a savage quadraturn Quake beating for long. |
