Yuna

Yuna has advanced to the second round of the Godlike playoffs, and faces another test in Ash Lambert, the super-powered paladin. Once more, Yuna will be counting on her superior speed to allow her to get her Aeons into play before the opponent can say anything about it, protecting her from Ash's deadly attacks. But her Aeons are far more than just meat shields, and the stronger ones, such as Anima, will make short work of Ash with deadly status attacks (such as Pain's instant death) if not just outright massive damage. The High Summoner is prepared to advance to the semi-finals this week... with a little help from her friends.

 His sword, Vandal Hearts, is stained with the blood of countless fools who dared challenge him. Having taken down swarms of the world's finest fighters without being scratched, Ash is well prepared to face Summoner Yuna. Her Aeons are reminiscent of the swarms that he faced in his home world after becoming a Vandalier. Much like all those foes that came before, Yuna's whole gamut of summons pales next to Ash's staggering power and infinite full healing. With powerful attacks and perfect counters to boot, Vandal Hearts will feast on the souls of the foolish summons, and Ash will be left to face a very weak girl - one who won't be able to stand against a single one of his earth shattering physicals.

Ash simply activated the power of Vandal Heart and tossed it at Yuna, sending her into the future. The next day Yuna appeared back, much too late for her to attempt to finish the match.

Ash is strong. He has a powerful hit all light magic spell in Plasma Wave. He has nearly unlimited MP and HP reserves with his Vandalier ability to use items as 0-cost spells. He can paralyze his opponent if they have weak resistance to status spells. And to top it all off, his Defense and Offense are phenomenal.

Shame that his game never heard the concept of "Instant Death"

Shame that this means Ash has no defense whatsoever against Instant Death.

Shame that one of Yuna's summons has Instant Death.

Oh well, maybe next time.
