Season 9, Week 1
Scias
(Breath of Fire IV)

Coming out of Heavy, Scias, after taking care of both mortals and undead alike, now faces his hardest battle: The Chief Seraph himself. But the Mercenary Dog isn't troubled; having a speed edge, he can play a waiting game, healing until he doubleturns the angel. With Scias' counters, Lamington doesn't dare go physical...and with Scias' innate ice protection, Judgement just isn't hitting as hard. And, of course, if Scias gets knocked to critical health, Lamington may find himself quickly overwhelmed, due to Rakhasa's incredible power boost. Scias may be in for more challenge in Godlike, but he's still not losing his cool.

Against the upgraded Heavy champion Scias, Lamington has little to fear. While the samurai dog is a powerful opponent, most of his tricks are worthless against the Seraph. Lamington's best moves, however, are still just as brutally effective. With godlike durability and insane damage through his Divine Judgment and Armageddon attacks ( not to mention his brutal physical counterattacks ), it's unlikely Scias will be able to take down the Seraph of Celestia before he himself receives divine punishment at the hands of Seraph Lamington.
