Having faced down the ancient, timeless beast Lavos, Magus is no stranger to time-warping monstrosities. And while he's known for his powerful elemental barriers and HP-draining, immunity-piercing Geyser spell,for this battle Magus will forsake his barriers and instead choose his more purely offensive PC form in order to cut through Chaos' Cure4 spell with dark magic and powerful scythe strokes, trusting the natural magic defence due to the Prince of Zeal (and coming from his own Magiwall spell) to let him endure until his opponent falls, overwhelmed by dark strength. |

Deep within the depths of the Temple of Fiends, from a vortex of chronological mayhem, Garland, the mighty lord Chaos himself, has come forth to bring terror to those outside the fourth dimension. The original ultimate villain, he brings not only control over time, but also one of the greatest magical arsenals known to the worlds. Even Magus's magic barriers will be unable to hold gainst the dreaded black magic of Flare, and the ever-useful white magic Curaja will neutralize his attack magic. With Magus's magic out of the way, there'll be no stopping Chaos on his road to victory. |
