Berle of the Ten Wise Men returns to the Arena seeking to become Godlike champion - an accomplishment none of his ilk has yet managed. His first match, a face-off against an impostor of the goddess Althena, is little challenge. With his swift sword hitting his opponent's nonexistent defense, his mighty Meta-Guard technique rendering him temporarily invincible, and his thunder resistance greatly reducing the damage he takes from Ray when Meta-Guard is down, the God's Wise Man will show the false goddess what it takes to be worthy of competing for the championship title. |

Although she is merely an imitator of the Goddess, False Althena's merits in battle have earned her the title of Godlike. Though she has lost in the first round on both appearances, that's all in the past. Her first opponent this time around lacks both her insane killing weapons and her massive HP. Though Berle is infamous for his Meta-Guard, his silly invincibility-spamming isn’t going to stop the reaper forever! And when he finally comes out and fights like a real man, he’s going to get his ass whipped by the false goddess, while she moves on to fight an opponent more worth her time. |
Sei Berle could have won this. He really could have. But he simply couldn't resist his villainous instincts. "I AM INVINCIBLE!" he laughed, after watching Ray piffle against Meta-Guard... ...shortly before the universe decided to apply its usual brand of ironic humor via recently launched Inter-Continental Ballistic Roger striking the Wise Man, pushing him out of the ring. However, despite being the loser, he still received more cheers than False Althena. Could it be from him letting out all his frustrations on the SO3 brat? ...nah. Berle: 28 |
