Season 22, Week 2
Asgard
(Wild Arms 3)

No stranger to the Arena, the Fortress of the Gods returns again in his quest for combat knowledge. What could be a better way to kick off his new season than an untested and freshly-ranked Godlike? After all, duelling the same fighters over and over is sure to get boring, even if they are the best and brightest of warriors. The sometime Ranger will certainly bring Asgard some brand-new experiences. As usual, Asgard brings his impressive assortment of barriers, including the fearsome Wide Barrier and Barrier Flood, which will quickly bring the Sheltar-dweller to his knees. This victory shall seal the perfect mood for this latest data run.

The Ranger Bosch has much to prove in his debut match. Not only must he defend the honor of his newly-ranked game, he's also looking to lock horns with the four un-met Ryus kicking around in Godlike division. Before that, though, he has to deal with the mechanical menace of Asgard. Nulling the golem's death-inducing Wide Barrier, Bosch will force Asgard into a straight slugfest - exactly what the future Regent excels at. Whether he chooses to rely on the brute force of Tri Wake or the crushing magical onslaught of Quake, it's certain that the Filgaian mech will take home a valuable lesson: mess with the best, die like the rest.

Cosmic balance is a powerful thing. It makes one man weep, and another man sing. Take our hearts, like a little white dove.
Actually, that's the Power of Love, and since neither of these two are Flonne, it's probably not a factor in this match.
Cosmic Balance, though, is. See, Bosch lost constantly to dragon-boys. If you'll recall Sheltar before one of them showed up, Bosch was rather insanely dominant. For a few hours, Bosch looked unstoppable. The same could be applied here.
Clearly Asgard showed up a little too early.
