Fresh from her mauling of Songi, the winner of last season is back to try and defend her crown. This time, however, things may be a little tougher. Thankfully, because she's a boss, Menardi doesn't have to deal with Yunalesca's nasty fun with status attacks. Still, she has to plow through ye olde summonere's high HP. And Wish is very outclassed by Curaga. Still, Death Seize, and an Impacted physical will be nasty to face, and Menardi could pull it off. Can she repeat last season, though?

Menardi may have met her match in this powerful Lady. First of all, Menardi's Impact will not be of any use here, thanks to Yunalesca's dispelling counters. As well, her Death Seize's ID power is useless here. Add that Yunalesca's Curaga will outpace Wish in the healing department, and Yunalesca might opt to Regen herself just to make sure that she's in the better for the whole way. Of course, one would think that because Yunalesca enjoys attacking with statuses and zombie/healing combos, that she would be outmatched against a fellow boss. Of course, one would have to forget that she likes to cast Absorb on non-zombies to hurt them and heal her. Throw in Yunalesca's HP advantage, and there's one nasty draw first round.

Menardi was still shocked about actually winning last season, that this season, she decided to stay out of the fighting. She went a spa retreat, got a facial and a Swedish massage, and felt a whole lot better.
Yunalesca, on the other hand, basically got a bye while the last champion pampered herself.
Menardi: 2
Yunalesca: 7
metroid composite
According to the Summer Contest 2003 board Magus is GODLY and unbeatable because he has a scythe. Menardi also has a Scythe so she must be godly as well.
According to the majority of RPGDL goers, the SC2003 board is automatically wrong. Match to Yunalesca.
