Valmar's minion extracted a bloody victory over Rameriz, and that's only the beginning of his plans. He fights another one who is attunted to darkness this week in Rose, who's a much different fight than the Silvite. Rose has good physical and magical damage, and quite a bit of healing, via Astral Drain. However, Rose's healing is far from full, and Melfice possesses unlimited healing and stat uppers, which Rose doesn't. Rose's bad HP means she can't heal and outslug Melfice at the same time, and her average defense means Melfice's Wailing Soul Slash will force her on the defensive. Either with a blitz of attacks, or healing and stat boosters to outlast Rose, Melfice easily outpowers his Dragoon opponent this week. |

The Black Monster triumphed over the Wings of Valmar last week, but now faces against a much tougher opponent this week in the Horns of Valmar. While Millenia was a little less than durable, Melfice is the complete opposite, and just as, if not more, powerful. Still, Rose isn't without options in this battle. While Demon's Gate is nulled, she still has parasitic healing through Astral Drain, as well as her powerful physical attacks via additions. Still, this will be an uphill battle for the ancient Dragoon, and Melfice's WOWed physicals will make her cry. |
Super Be it by any name, Wailing Soul Slash hurts like a moth- well, it hurts. Rose can apply the same level of pain with her Demon¡¯s Dance, but unlike Melfice, her healing and defense isn¡¯t going to be enough to carry her to a victory here. Melfice: 7 |
