The Great Gilgamesh, collector of swords extraordinaire and a master of the fine art of battling on Big Bridges, has finally made it to his rightful division! Generally, fresh Heavy champions have not met much success in Godlike, but Gilgy intends to break this curse - and indeed, he has all the tools for it (and then more). His enemy's Absorb ability is completely useless thanks to Gilgamesh possessing the typical boss trait of immunity to gravity damage, and Yunalesca's other trick - healing spells - is easily outmatched by Gilgy's blazing speed, deadly offensive power and awesome battle music. Just ask Wren about how much good relying on a defensive strategy does. The eternal abused henchman is set to outdo both of his bosses, so watch out, Godlike: this Heavy Champion is going to make a lasting impact in the greatest division of all! |

Once again, it's time to introduce the new Godlike with an inaugural battle that is both ironic and hopeless. Perhaps Gilgamesh should count himself lucky that he didn't drawn a decorated champion, like Ghaleon or Fou-Lu, like so many Heavy champions have before him - but Yunalesca will be no easier a foe, and one that hits far closer to home. Both the original High Summoner and X-Death's most famous henchman pride themselves on their ability to ruin their foes with status attacks, but of the two, Yunalesca is the only one who can claim the ability to take a hit. With three forms to call upon, and an impressive array of restorative abilities in the form of Curaga, Regen, and Absorb, this masterful Summoner will have an easy time disposing of the rascal Gilgamesh, whose own durability is equally noteworthy - just not in a good way! |
