It has been a long time since her last presence in the arena. And Valvalis, Lady of Gales, finally returns in triumphant fashion to the Duelling League! In her mind, only victory is a choice, and the violent winds under her control shall take her farther than any of her Fiend colleagues. Val's newest opponent, the wingly Lloyd, may be very quick and pack some notable magic... but even he can't outpace the relentless gusts and strikes of the Wind Fiend! With a notable edge in durability and speed, Valvalis shall strike one home and send that little flying emo bishie to his mommy in tears! Hail to the storming beauty! |

In his pursuit to take on the God Emperor Fou-Lu, Lloyd has faced many foes. His newest enemy is none other than a master of the skies herself: the Wind Fiend Valvalis. You'd naturally expect these two to get along, especially since they both share a common enemy in Dragoons. But such isn't the case in the arena. Regardless, Valvalis' spin tactic won't serve much use against Lloyd, who excels at magic - like any Wingly worth his salt. With his own competent speed to match the Lady of Gale's mobility, he definitely has what it takes to win a race of damage, and secure one step closer to the gold! |
SageAcrin Lloyd is definately resourceful. When Valvalis had started her spin, it seemed like an uphill battle. Then Kain jumped on her head. Then he landed back in the stands. This happened every time she started spinning. So, Valvalis lost easily, the judges baffledly declared Lloyd the winner, since he had managed one of the best fine-print conditions ever("No other combatants will be allowed to set foot in this arena."), and Kain doesn't get impaled by the Dragon Buster. Yes, everyone knows Kain can't really be hit with it, but Lloyd's resourceful, and reminding a Light that Dragoons two divisions up were instantly killed by the weapon definately works as a measure of convincing. Valvalis still isn't speaking to Kain, but that's pretty normal. They've been on-and-off ever since Kain got really drunk one night and hit on her. Their relationship is pretty...tempestuous.
