Terra Branford (Final Fantasy VI)			Ultimecia (Final Fantasy VIII)
The half-esper witch Terra started off with an excellent first round showing by defeating the mad URTV Albedo. Now, it's time to face a bigger, more feminine opponent in Ultimecia, the mistress of Time Kompression! Unlike Albedo, whose terrifying magic draining and confusion-inflicting attacks posed a potential problem, Ultimecia has nothing that threatens Terra's livelihood. Once morphed into her esper self, Terra's devastating Ultima will rip through the sorceress without abandon. Not even Ultimecia's own morphing powers will save her from such devastating magic, nor will her own Apocalypse spell even dent the half-esper spellcaster. And Hell's Judgment might be threatening, if Terra couldn't simply heal it away, every time. Her path to the finals is paved - just two more wins, and Terra will finally clinch the championship.	V	S	TIME KOMPRESSION PREVAILS! While the sorceress Ultimecia may have let minions and puppets do the dirty work for her in her own game, she proved that she's no pushover in straight combat herself by preying on the crybaby villain Lambda. This week, though, she's not fighting a paper-frail wimp - instead, her opponent is a magical being much like herself. Although Terra might be a mere half-Esper, she packs a heavy mystical punch with Ultima as well as some vicious blows with her sword. Her most anoying trick, though, is off the table - Ultimecia is immune to draining magic, which means Terra won't be able to deal damage and heal at the same time. The two esteemed magicians might trade blows and hurl magic at each other, but what can the green-haired heroine do to someone with the power to manipulate time and space?

Pyro When Ultimecia got involved with a woman who ran an orphanage, she ended up possessing her and committing a variety of nefarious deeds. When Terra got involved with an evil manipulator, she ended up being controlled by a slave-crown and committing a variety of nefarious deeds. One would think that Ultimecia would be in her natural element here, having held the leash of more than a few mind-slaves in her time. But wait! Terra went on to grind Kefka into a fine powder after all was said and done. Ultimecia got pasted by the likes of Rinoa after all was said and done. I think we can all agree that Kefka is more competent than Ultimecia, and Terra is far more competent than Rinoa. Game. Set. And match. Terra Branford: 73 Ultimecia: 27 jaymthegenius@yahoo.com Terra is going up against Ultemecia, having once defeated Jecht and the ultra-tough cameo of Lenneth in Star Ocean her chances look pretty good, especially with the Paladin Shield and illumina. commentator: It looks like Terras being weared down quite a bit! Quite amazing that she's lasting this long! ???: Looks like you can use some help! Terra: Who is it? ???: You can call me Jessica (of Dragon Quest VIII) Ultemecia: You think you can be of any help? Ha! I'll crush you as well! Terra and Jessica talk girl talk back and forth between eachother, annoying Ultemecia to the pinnicle of frusteration and annoyance, Terra proceeds to hit Ultemecia with the illumina and then cast ultima. Ultemecia: How can this happen? How can I lose? Noooooo...(fades out) Terra: oops! Looks like you werent paying attention, hehehehehehe! So Terra and Jessica become friends and will see the rest of Terras matches, all thats going to be left is just Scias or Zophar and probably Ryu, with Terras toughest competition behind her Jessica can safely sit back without interferance. Lurking Registered User I let Ultimecia use Griever, due to the Yuna Clause. And Griever has that lovely ability to steal your spells. Even if she manages to somehow beat Griever down, Terra minus Ultima and Drain is fodder for Ultimecia and her HP->1 attack. redmage007 In the case of Terra vs. Ultimecia I must say that simply on basis of shear principle-terra wins. (Terra is the PROTAGONIST Ultimecia is an ANTAGONIST) Whatever happens though-this is gonna be one hell of a fight. Blow shit up ladies.
