There is no love lost between Songi and his opponent Indalecio. Indy wanted to be the first to aspire to take over or destroy more than just a single world, but Songi beat him to it by going after both Legaia AND the alternate dimension of Seru-Kai. Not as grandiose as Indalecio's plan for universal destruction, but he hasn't forgiven Songi since. And at last, they shall settle their grudge this Godlike season for the entertainment of the good people of the RPGDL! Songi is reasonably fast - fast enough to stay out of range of Divine Wave, at least. While Songi's Biron-trained physical attacks are very potent, he'll be better off hanging back and sniping with Genocidal Cannon. With these tricks up his sleeveless vest, Songi is sure to rise back to top tier of Godlike this season.

The destruction of the universe will have to wait, for Indalecio has returned to the Godlike arena! The greatest of God's Ten Wisemen has been itching for a championship for agest, and this is his chance. Songi, the poor Legaian monk, faces off against the most powerful Sage in the whole universe, and woe be to the master of backflips! All of Songi's training will be for naught - he won't even be able to catch Indalecio, while devastating magic will keep Songi on the defensive. Indalecio's own resilience - honed by heraldry and technology - will allow him to withstand even Songi's dreaded Genocidal Cannon without flinching. Once Indalecio removes his limiter, Songi's hopes and dreams will be no more - the Time of Truth has come, dear Dueling League! Submit!

It was both a graceful and sad sight at the same time, depending on who you had bet your money on. Songi's years of martial arts training finally paid off as he managed to block, parry and dodge every single attack Indalecio launched at him. (Yes, he managed to backflip out of the way of an arena-engulfing explosion. This is the way.) It was truly a one-sided slaughter.
That is, until Songi did a 1080° triple jump in slow motion in an effort to have the fight look cooler on the DVD box set of Season 34...accidentally going out of the arena and into a nearby lake. Some people just can't grasp the concept of learning from mistakes, eh?

Indalcio is, by far and away, the clear favorite going into his match, sure he's no Luther, but being imprisoned for over 1 billion years will make one go insane, plus he's been sociopathic to begin with, can anyone beat him? Fayt, Maria, or Cliff from the next in the series maybe, but no one in the DL competing right now, most especially Songi.
