Season 40, Week 2
Zog
(Breath of Fire)

An evil dragon. What does a good example of an evil dragon boss do best? Have little relevant character and tank. Tank in a fashion that makes PCs want to scream out in frustrated rage about the prospect of a near never-ending battle. Of course the dragon has to deal out a nice helping of fiery death on the side. Yes, the original Breath of Fire big bad dragon emperor bent on world domination is as stereotypical as it gets in both plot and battle. While the little devil who faces him this round may have more character worth, its hard to argue with the combination of Zog's raw HP and devastating Char. Before that advantage, the comparatively frail Odd-Eye will have only two options: Being scarfed down half-cooked or well-done.

Well. The massive dragon Zog is an intimidating foe, it must be said, but Odd Eye can hardly see him, can he? And the rumors do not scare him in the slightest, so... whatever advantage Zog may have against mortal men is completely lost on this blind devil. In a duel proper, Zog may be durable, but he is slower than a slug, and that is something opponents of Odd Eye cannot afford. With the slugging prowess that his Odd Eye Beams and his mighty physicals possess, plus his unnatural speed, his demolishing capacity is unstoppable by this dragon, and his durability easily lets him take a fiery Char from the slug and still continue dishing out the pain in a furious barrage that would wilt any opponent. Victory shall be his this match!

"Will you be my friend?"

"Odd Eye Beams!"

"Char!"

"But thou must!"

"PIG HEART!"

"By your powers combined, I am..."

Nate slammed his briefcase on the table. "A walking copyright infringement."

"Awwwwwwwwwww!"

"Myria, Fou-Lu, Odd Eye, Zog, Luca... Why do you think I would let you become some sort of quasi-Shiva/Genbu unholy mixture from Hades?" Nate said. "And why are you presenting this during what is supposed to be a Godlike match?"

"You're busy all other times." Zog notes.

"I should be busy now. Reffing." Nate counters, eyeing him, before flipping a coin. "Odd Eye wins. Get out of here, your request is rejected."
