Season 46, Week 1
Rashidi
(Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen)

The Sage of Zeteginea is generally just about the last Godlike you want to let get a turn. His assault is as deadly as it is varied, packing ITD parastic draining in Life Suck, magics of every element to strike at any given weakness (Wind, in Tibarn's case) and blistering speed that gives him some of the highest total damage output in Godlike. Rashidi's also extremely fast out of the gate and has some evasion to boot, so you'd better make that damage stick! Tibarn's physical strikes are powerful, but rely on him getting the drop and possessing more attack speed than his foe, two things very much untrue here. And no matter how tough the Hawk King is, no creature can withstand Rashidi's assault without a quick kill - and his unimpressive undoubled attack won't do that.

The Hawk King of Phoenicis, perhaps the greatest warrior in the land. The Duelling League is a fine place to make a new reputation for himself and test his mettle against new breeds of fighters the likes of which cannot be found in his land. Tibarn's first opponent, however, is not so different from the warriors back home. The accomplished sorcerer Rashidi commands a wide variety of magics, but fundamentally depends upon firing off a multitude of spells and hoping his opponents are dead before they can exploit his frailty. But packing the Pavise skill, Tibarn has no cause for concern against a large wave of weak attacks, and is more than capable of tearing Rashidi asunder with a single pass of his massive talons. Not nearly as satisfying as Tibarn might have hoped, but it is just the first round.

"...you mean he actually tried to..."

"Yes"

"And you..."

"Yes..."

Janaff and Ulki just sighed. They both knew that despite Rashidi being a "wise man", he should have known better than to try and negotiate with Tibarn to throw a fight.

"So what did Naesala say about all this, anyway? I mean, that was a large sum of money you tossed away when you ripped out Rashidi's Spine, Eyes, and possibly one of his internal organs in one fell swoop."

"Oh, he just laughed. Found it hilarious irony and all that." Reyson responded.

Rashidi: 8
Tibarn: 21
