Already Nate Nanjo has electrified crowds by bringing down his first opponent, and with ungodly amounts of money, and his Persona, of course, he’s not going to let anyone stop him. Sure, Orlandu may be quite the powerful dueller, and his swordskills may go straight through Nate’s barriers, but all Mr. Nanjo has to do is try to live through one assault and then unleash his blisteringly accurate status magic. But money isn't going to buy him a win in Godlike, so the spoiled rich boy is going to have to get by on his own abilities. superaielman Oneupsmanship can be an ugly thing. When Edge threatened to invade Ivalice with the backing of Baron and Eblan kindoms, solely to piss off Cid and distract him from his fight. Orlandu's response lacked in eloquence. He merely pointed to Nate and mentioned that whatever happened to Nate, could happen to Edge. Cid hit Nate -so- hard with Holy Explosion that he not only killed the heir to the Nanjo fortune in one hit, he knocked him several years into the past, causing such a severe tear in space-time that several Great Old Ones managed to escape from the infinite outrealms to terrorize various world, along with once again releasing Nyarlathotep to trouble Nate's home world.
