If any woman can match Empress Endora in both grace under fire and magical prowess, it's Celes Chere. The Magitek Knight has a long history in the DL, and one that's largely successful. Her equipment and natural stats take the edge off Endora's rapid fire spells, and she herself has Flare to draw on, with ignores the Empress's vast magic defense. Celes is looking for a fast win, since not even one as hardened as her can take Endora's assault for long. |

The Black Queen is on the march this week, and the only thing in her way is one puny general. Endora's driving ambition consumed an entire continent for twenty years, and she's turning that drive into the fuel that pushes her to glory in the RPGDL. Celes Chere has no protection against her brutal dark elemental magic, nor can she stop Wind Shot, which slips past her defenses. All the Empress has to do is apply her lethal spells at her typically high speed, to put Celes down for the count. |

I have legions of monsters at my beck and call, Black Magics from the great Sage Rashidi, and the driving will to use them all!" Celes looked calm, and fired off a Flare spell at Endora.
