It's a pity Ultimecia and Brahms had to meet in such a contentious manner - both being gothic castle dwellers, they'd no doubt have many interior design tips to exchange in more civil circumstances. Still, a fight's a fight, and Brahms does stand in the way of a coveted Godlike title. The vampire lord's Bloody Curse combo is terrifying to behold, but if there's anyone with the durability to soak up the full brunt of the attack, Ultimecia is it. The same cannot be said of her opponent, as Apocalypse will wreak untold havoc on Brahms' nearly non-existent magic defense. |

Long ago in another universe of duels, the Compressor of Time vanquished the Lord of the Undead. With only savage power and the unstoppable might of Bloody Curse on his side, Brahms seems ill-equipped to gain revenge on the Ultimecia - especially considering she's one of the toughest foes the Final Fantasy universe has produced. That isn't quite so, however. While Ultimecia's durability does rival that of Myria and Ghaleon, she lacks the excellent damage of either boss, and even the toughest cower before Bloody Curse. All Brahms needs is one opening... |
Sage Acrin Ultimecia, fearing that her powers without the aid of Griever would not be enough, set out to, in typical villian fashion, cheat. When Brahms didn't show up for the match, she simply smiled in a slightly distracted fashion. Meanwhile, in Brahms room, a dazed Shana snapped out of a trance, and wondered why she felt drained of her magic, and why Brahms was blasted halfway through a wall.
