A showdown with a fellow great destroyer lurks just one win away. All the Profound Darkness must do to guarantee Itself a match worthy of Its time is to brush aside a minor villain, a mid-boss, a mere upgraded Heavy. Rubicant's fires are certainly nothing the Darkness will take lightly, but It still has every reason to be unfalteringly confident. With powerful physical attacks, a variety of feared magics including the infamous Megid, and legendary durability, the Profound Darkness is finally going to teach to the overly honourable sub-villain the true power of Evil.

He has scorched Heavy to a crisp and performed well in his debut Godlike match, but it's this week that the Fiend of Fire faces his greatest challenge yet: the root of all evil! The ever honourable lord of the flames has a rough fight ahead, but it's one he can easily win. After all, even evil itself can tell the difference between hot and cold, and a couple of Rubicante's flaming salvos of burnination should scald even the darkest darkness, rendering the ultimate evil capable of only the simplest phrases: "Fire bad, tree pretty."

Sage Acrin
Rubicant, when he heard that his opponent was the manifestation of all that is evil, knew he had to win.
After all, evil doesn't fight with any nobility, and that was his true strength.
However, when the Profound Darkness appeared in front of him and blasted him with Megid, he was so trapped within the massive philosphical contridictions of Profound Darkness, evil it's self, using a holy blast manifested from pure hatred, that he left himself wide open.
It's pretty clear Rubicant thinks too much. Sadly, he now has to do it in the infirmary.
