A decisive victory over Deis did a lot to dispel talk of Deamoned being the weakest of the Regents. Now he moves on to much tougher game. Yuna may be a former champion, but Deamoned is hardly out of options. Sturdy HP and Absolute Defense will let him take the worst of any Aeon Yuna can call, while Fatal Strike will leave the fayth vulnerable to death by the slightest poke. Meanwhile, Deamond's powerful chains of multi-attacks, used several times a round, are perfect for getting around the Summoner's Auto-Life. It will be a tough fight, but after going toe-to-toe with Wyrm, what could Deamoned be afraid of? |

From a Ryu to a Regent: Breath of Fire figures prominently in Yuna's quest for a second Godlike championship. Deamoned is no less respectable than her previous opponent, and he is likewise no less unbeatable by Yuna's usual approach: summon things and let them destroy the foe for her. Deamoned's Absolute Defence could be threatening if her Aeons weren't so damaging, but as it is they will easily blow by the Regent's most (or perhaps only) impressive trick. Deamoned will fall just as those before him, as Yuna proves once again that she is the League's premier female fighter. |
SageAcrin Deamoned had trained and honed his skills for this moment. This would be the pinnacle of his career. And everything went exactly as he planned it. Battered, bruised, he still managed to rise up and strike at his foe, Bahamut, the mightiest dragon of all time. Bahamut, unable to stand up to the force of Deamoned, collapsed and shattered into a cloud of pyreflies. And then, slowly, Deamoned limped out of the arena. "...Doesn't he know that he has to beat me to win?" Yuna said, puzzled. "Hmmm. Somehow, I don't think that was his goal to begin with..."
