While he was once but a humble and peaceful fisherman, Miguel became a fearsome warrior, forced to do battle with his best friend’s son in order to escape the Dead Sea created when the future collapsed. FATE forced him to battle that young man, and now blind destiny has brought him to battle once again, this time in the DL Arena. Duellers have come and gone since the last time Miguel fought Sarevok back in Season 23, but the fisherman will get his revenge! So far he has only beaten a pair of Suikoden Godlikes, but his luck is about to change. He will destroy Fou-Lu with his Holy Dragon Sword and with it claim one of Chrono Cross's greatest victories. |

After meeting yet another Finals defeat the last time he got a match, it's time for the one, true Dragon God to make his triumphant return to the most glorious division in the RPGDL. While he might not get the chance to obliterate Ryu this season, Fou-Lu is happy to settle for destroying his puny opposition, including the Holy Fisherman, Miguel. Miguel's holy sword will glance off the divine scales of a dragon, greatly softening their offensive power. And while Fou-Lu has the defenses of a god, Miguel is...a fisherman. This should be an easy battle: a single Dark Wave will flay and eviscerate the poor man, leaving a warning to any who would challenge the Dragon God. |
Lurking Registered User Miguel has two options: Cast TurnBlack to make Fou-Lu vulnerable to the Holy Dragon Sword, and take a full-force Dark Wave, or whack Fou-Lu for *much* lesser damage and take a slightly less powerful Dark Wave. Either way, he's toast. Miguel: 16 Caius
