Season 4, Week 3
Terra Branford
(Final Fantasy VI)

If anyone can beat Shizel this season, it's Terra. However, unlike Tir's method of attempting to off the Dark Aurora user, Terra will not be using her trademark Ultima, otherwise she too will meet the same fate as Tir. The only way for her to win this fight is to Drain her way out. And with 40 castings of Drain, she may just outlast Shizel and her great HPs. She only has two things to fear: The off chance of being doubleturned, and the off chance of her running out of drains. Can she defeat the Celestian terror, or will she join her fellow uber PC in the infirmary?

Confident off her last win, Shizel comes into the arena facing yet another fearsome PC. And, once more, Eternal Finality is her most fearsome weapon. As well, Shizel's durability is great, thanks to her superior HP. And, in the end, there's always the fun things to do to a PC, like Summon Demon.

Having fought in two battles so far, Shizel thought that it would work like in-game, and being her third battle, turned into Nereid-Shizel.

...don't disqualifications just blow?

Terra stared Shizel down. "Your run ends here," she stated as she transformed into her esper form.

"Esper, Craymel, all the same, all fuel for the Dark Aurora..." Shizel uttered passively, raising her head and arms, drawing in little balls of light.

"What did you sa--" Terra started, before being knocked out of morph.

She watched as her morph form was absorbed by Shizel. "How did you... no matter. I'll just morph again." Try as she might, Terra found that she was unable to morph back.

With Ultima and Drain at a weakened power, it was only an Eternal Fatality and a Summon demon later before Terra was on the ground.

*insert humorous piece about Shizel shizzling Terra's nizzle, or whatever the whippersnappers call it nowadays*
