After languishing in Heavy for so long, the triumphant hero makes his return to Godlike! Arc is back to his former division and ready to show that his downgrade was a mistake. And while he would love to prove his mettle against that upstart Elc, he’ll settle with taking on another damage-halving, fire-slinging swordsman. Of course, any true hero would be happy to put down the rabid Luca anyways. The Highlander may be able to get off a few quick attacks, but these won’t be enough to faze the mighty Arc. After that, a judicious application of Invincible to kill Luca’s damage, Weak Enemy to ruin his defenses, and sword smacks to Luca’s surprisingly small pool of hit points should prove to the world that Arc can indeed win in Godlike.

"A sword doesn't need fine lineage, it just needs to be sharp." The Mad Prince doesn't name his weapons, nor does he have any sentimentality toward them. They're just sharpened steel, designed to kill as many pigs as possible. Arc is such a pig, a mere man who sacrificed much to save his country and world. The only thing he's going to do here is die at Luca's hands, slaughtered by sword and flame, his soul going to feed the Beast Rune. Heal? Defend? Hahaha, worthless. Arc will be out of MP long before he even puts a dent in Luca's gleaming breastplate, and he'll be left defenseless against the human who was only slain by the power of betrayal and half an army jumping him. Arc doesn't quite measure up, so he'll be the next victim of the mad Prince.

SLAUGHTER AT GUARDIAN PEAK VILLAGE
"Maruding armies slaughtered the remote mountain village. No survivors were found alive. The trace magical energies found in the village suggest that a True Rune was used in some manner. Authorities are looking for Luca Blight, head of the White Wolves for questioning at this time. More news as it's discovered.."
----
Luca flowed with the power of the souls trapped in the Beast Rune. Aah, an entire village dead, feeding the true.. it was truly a glorious day. Maybe this pig Arc would squeal some and put up a fight now that his worthless family was wiped out. Even better, the fool told Luca he was free to use whatever rune he wanted in this battle. So he wants to fight the Golden Wolves and the living incarnation of the Beast Rune along with the Mad King? Hahahahaha, how sad. The little pig was going to die a hero and a fool. How delightful.
---
One plot item each? Perfectly fair, ruled the judges. Luca brought the full fury of the barely contained Beast Rune, and all the energies stored within. Arc? Arc brought a simple stone. It wouldn't stand out anywhere. A plain rock.
The romancing stone.
Luca Blight never had a chance.
