Take it easy, pretty lady. Miguel's in no rush to get this fight done. The veteran of the arena has battled the best of the world, from Fou-Lu on down. He's even battled this False Goddess the last time he was in the arena- or he would, if the fish hadn't been biting. Mmmm. Boy, it sure is good fishing on the dead sea today. Serge is coming by with some friends, and the great coralfish were nibbling on anything. It prevents him from getting wrinkles or getting stressed out. Holy Dragon Sword and the barrage of supporting skills to outpace any opponent speak for themselves, as does his accomplished record. Mmm, Serge is here. Time for Miguel to let the youngsters have the line for now and catch a little nap, as there's no need to be concerned about his current fight; life's too short for that. |

Nearly fifty long seasons after she first graced the league with her presense, False Althena has finally claimed a championship with all the fanfare and prizes accorded a dueler of her stature. And, of course, 'just one' championship is hardly enough for the greedy, self-centered pretender goddess. She’ll fight just as hard to win now, if only to feed her own ego and obtain another championship, another prize and yet more attention. As always, her lightning quick Ray should put quite the quick and brutal hurting on Miguel, outpacing his own admittedly solid damage with immense ease. Having these peons yet learned that the correct way to great False Althena is with praise and worship, and not with swords drawn? Well, she’ll shock as many as she must into submission until all bow before her. |
