Having felled the mighty dragonslayer Lloyd - a task few believed he could accomplish - Godlike's mightiest warlock now must do battle with the nigh-unstoppable steamroller that is Melfice. If any master of arcane magicks could attain such an upset, though, it is the fallen cardinal. Though unable to match Melfice's blazing-fast speed, Bacon's superior magical capabilities cannot be denied; those, combined with his awesome Grace spell, can tip the tides in his favour. It'll be a long, brutal match, but Roger Bacon is confident in victory. After all, who could bring himself to intentionally harm such a snappy dresser?

Valmar's rampaging servant has provided his master with yet another day of glory. Genevieve was crushed beneath Melfice's speedy boot like so much dust, and now Roger Bacon looks to be the next to taste true power. The alchemist of yore is reduced to using his pathetic magic against Melfice, as his more respectable physical would be hard pressed to connect against the swordsman's evasive frame. The Horn of Valmar returns with his usual combination of blistering speed and frightful damage, which should be more than enough to overwhelm such a middling Godlike as Roger.
