Season 19, Week 5
Jenova
(Final Fantasy VII)

Having survived her ordeal with a petite healer girl, Jenova now faces something completely different: a towering giant with a massive sword. Of course, RPG "logic" would dictate that this will be an easier opponent, and it seems true. With her ability to triple-cast Red Light, Jenova has a massive damage advantage over Jecht, and she’s far faster than the lumbering giant to boot. We can't forget her most important advantage: her son is far stronger than Jecht's. While Tidus choked in the Heavy finals many seasons ago, Sephiroth is a two-time champion, and Jenova will prove that success runs in the family.

Blitzball star, final Aeon, lousy father figure and perennial drunkard, Jecht has climbed through the Heavy ranks, and now only has to defeat Jenova to prove that he truly is the best. Thanks to Jecht's strong attacks and brutal Overdrives many a Heavy has fallen before him, and his defenses have kept him from the agony of defeat many a time. Jenova will be the last to die, as she will be hard-pressed even to break through Jecht’s defenses, much less match his offense. The finals are where the best truly shine, and Jecht will be no exception as he bumps off Jenova to become this season's Heavy champion.

Obsidian
While Jenova can split itself into many parts, we have to remember that Jecht has fought Sin, and Sin has the same ability. However, Jenova has an insane "son" on it's side. But in the end, a person with an impossibly huge sword was fatal to both Jenova and Sephiroth. Thus, my vote to Jecht.

Jenova: 34
Jecht: 46
