Now that he's surpassed all his castmastes and made the Heavy finals, Roufas can one-up them for good by taking home Saga Frontier's first title. This won't be an easy task; Geno possesses a buffing move much like Awakening, and has Roufas outgunned on damage...at first. Sadly for him, Geno Flash sucks up FP at an alarming rate, and Roufas can use Awakening on the first turn to match Geno's own custom powers. Once the damage starts to flow, Life Sprinker is an excellent way to chip at Geno in between Mindheals, and while Geno will quickly run out of magic and be left with a mere physical, Roufas can pump out high damage as long as he needs to. It's been a long, challenging run, but no matter how it ends, he'll finish the season with his usual style.

At first glance, Geno's final opponent this season looks a lot like him, minus the "giant walking action figure" part; Roufas is best-known for his stat-boosting spell, among other things. However, Geno's legendary Geno Boost is far more powerful than Roufas' Awakening, halving all incoming damage and increasing Geno's already-impressive damage output by half...permanently. Add to that Geno's usual advantage: his insane speed and admirable attack power even without special moves. With the ability to punish his foe with both his Star Gun and Geno Flash, it's only a matter of time before the extra turn his speed grants sees Geno past his opponent's meaningless healing, and to the Heavy championship the defender of the Star Road deserves.

Roufas stood in a packed arena, with only a puppet with a gun blocking his way to the title platform. Without moving, the cool headed leader of Gradius just posed.
It was an epic staredown. An epic clash of wills.
-It was boring.-
So boring, that when Liza and Annie ran through the crowds naked, that a small riot broke out around them. For a mintue or two, no one, including the refs, paid attention to the match.
One highly illegal, and bought and paid for Time Eclipse later, Geno was knocked out, tossed out, and ran over by the mob of perverts looking to get a piece of the girls.
It goes without saying, but Geno was not amused when he was finally destoned, glued together, and polished up after his rather painful loss.
Roufas: 31
Geno: 30
