Season 22, Week 2
Feena
(Grandia)

A fighter in constant limbo between Godlike and Heavy, Feena enters this season determined to win her place back in the big leagues. She immediately faces a big hurdle in the deadly assassin Celia, but Feena is not going down without a fight. Her speed outpaces even that of her opponent's, and she has an extensive magical repertiore to rely on in this battle, including Time Gate and End of the World. She'll need them, as her opponent stops her potent Para Whip. It's kill or be killed for Feena, and with her magic's power, her spells won't be set on stun.

Death is her gift, and the assassin Celia is a generous demon. Her gift takes many forms: in a breath attack that stops the heart, in a twist of the wrist that freezes a person where they stand, and in Ultima, one of the most feared spells in the RPG multiverse. Any of these gifts will doom the Icarian girl to a quick death, which is why Celia is such a generous person. How many duellers get in and die a painless death in the arena? Feena can thank the intrepid Assassin later, after she wraps up a Heavy title in record time.

Being a demon and all, Celia decided to employ some scare tactics before the start of the match.

"I warn you, thousands have died because of me," she told Feena while raising her hands in a subtle yet threatening manner, "and many more have suffered after I helped corrupt a Marquis and helped send a land in turmoil."

"My Lord is a false prophet that promised paradise, but only caused endless wars in his name." she continued while staring at the adventurer with inhuman eyes.

"Tell me, do you truly wish to face one such as me." she finished while her gaze drilled deep into her opponent's soul.

Feena looked back, unimpressed. "I slept with Justin and bore his children."

There was a slight pause as the Ultima Demon processed this bit of information and let her over-active imagination run with it. Her face twisted this way and that as her eye twitched. Finally, her brain snapped, and she ran away while screaming 'scary whip sex demon' in many different tongues.

And thus began Feena's slow trek back to Godlike.

Now, usually in a story, when a plucky adventurer is attacked by an evil assassin, the assassin is defeated in fairly comic fashion, and no one really notices or cares again.
Unfortunately for Feena, she's in the same game as Justin. By comparison to him, no one is a plucky adventurer. This, then, makes Feena a sidekick.
Meanwhile, if we look at comics, we find that sidekicks are killed right and left by supervillains in order to motivate the hero. And I'm pretty sure Celia qualifies as a supervillain, what with the spells and demonic nature and all.
This doesn't look so good for Feena, does it?
