Sabin Rene Figaro

Having Bum Rushed Cameela into the ground, Final Fantasy's strongest and fastest martial artist is now ready for his toughest fight yet! But hey, if he's taken down two capable bosses already, then what can this puny little Arc the Lad character do to him? His muscles flexed, his body prepped and strong, the heroic Sabin Rene Figaro is ready to rush this bum into the ground! Sabin's quick enough to prevent Elc's Bravery Wings-induced speed from overwhelming him, and durable enough to prevent the Pyromancer's deadly magicks from burning him up. With the mighty Bum Rush at the ready, Sabin can pummel this good-for-nothing brat into the ground, and show everyone just how strong he really is.

 After toasting a fast opponent with good damage, Elc now faces... a slower opponent with worse damage? Lucky draw, it seems! Sabin's only damage is Bum Rush, and while that move can hurt, Elc doesn't care. Invincible nullifies anything Sabin has, and Elc's fast enough to put it up before Sabin moves; and Elc's durable enough to survive a Bum Rush even if he wasn't. Once under Invincible, Elc can beat Sabin down with... well, just about anything; swords, axes, spears, even magic, halving monkey-boy's HP with Divide until it's too low to stop Extract from proving fatal. Whatever Elc does, Sabin's loss is all but assured. This bodybuilder's strayed way too far from his gym, and Elc will make him realize it. Painfully.

Pyro
Sabin is a bland but refreshingly straightforward dueler. He gets his turn. He uses Bum Rush. Repeat until opponent or himself is dead. His other Blitz techniques are all very much forgettable. In this match, he realized what he really wanted was a healing Blitz that would stand a chance of outlasting Elc’s Invincibility…

Then he remembered he had one of those! One use of Spiraler later, and a victorious Elc was rolling on the ground laughing while Edgar bemoaned the fact that his brother couldn't even remember what his own moves did.

Who advanced in this round utterly dissapoints me with all these junk FFT and Suikoden charicters, the only interesting match here is between Elc and Sabin, Arc the Lad collection was quite woth buying, like Shining Force but without the seperate battle sequences, Sabin wear's the Paladin shield, absorbing any magic plus know's cure and life 3, and it is unlikely that with this strong combination of healing magic plus the offering to attack 4 times and Marvel shoes to give many positive status's it's unlikely Elc will be able to overcome Sabin's advantages, plus Meteo and Ice 3 aren't something Elc should take lightly either.
