Season 38, Week 4
Worker 8
(Final Fantasy Tactics)

It's tough to deny that Prince Ephraim has a lot going for him coming into this match. Respectable evasion, devastating damage with his spearplay, unerring counters to round out his skills, and most importantly of all, a drop-dead sexy twin sister. However, the Steel Giant Worker 8 also has quite a bit going for him. After all, he's got those Work skills that ignore evade, that Defense UP ability which so happens to utterly marginalize physical damage, a ranged attack named Dispose that completely ignores his opponent's ability to counter him, and an even sexier posse at his side, which includes the long-time playboy, hero of women everywhere and one man anti-pervert force, T.G. Cid. A good match this week, but we're afraid Eirika can't hold a candle to the Holy Swordsman's charisma.

Charging onward into the semifinals, the warrior prince Ephraim of Renias comes face to face with his second mechanical opponent in one season. This one, however, is an immensely powerful robot forged from solid steel instead of something that's mostly fluff. The odd thing is, Ephraim prefers it this way. Sitting high on his horse and ready for battle, Ephraim will show no fear as he charges down the mighty Worker 8. In fact, if one looks closely enough, one might even see a small measure of glee on the young prince's face instead of any fear or caution. What could possibly be the cause for such joy in the face of so fearsome an opponent, you ask? Just consider for a moment exactly what that armor piercing Reginleif lance will do to something that is practically nothing but armor...

My name is what Eph is going to do to Worker. Reginleif or Siegmund hitting a weakness twice does a nice job of spoiling the spoilerbot.

Worker 8: 21
Ephraim: 62

Worker 8 makes chop suey of Ephraim who needs to update his understanding of the term 'Armor Piercing'.
