Season 39, Week 1
Shizel
(Tales of Eternia)

A master of the Dark Aurora, her body a receptacle for the power of the Dark God Nereid, Shizel is one of the more fearsome combatants in Heavy. While she usually fights to protect her daughter or for the sake of pure destruction, this time the cunning Celestian fights to get back into her rightful division: Godlike. However, first she must dispose of one of those pesky Holy heroes that tends to get in her way. And while her trademark Eternal Finality may not be useful against him, she still has a barrage of powerful spells, including the body-blasting Holy Lance, that can rip Maxim apart without getting into that pesky IP range. She even resists Holy herself, taking some of the bite out of the Dual Blade’s attacks. With such advantages, the power of the Dark Aurora will triumph once again.

A creature of eternal darkness, who only fears the promised hero with a sacred weapon? That sounds familiar. Maxim's destiny outside of the arena may be to battle Daos & Co. to the death, but he didn't expect to be staring this fate down inside the arena. Shizel's powerful Eternal Finality scares most everyone. Not even healers with the deepest of resources can stand against it - except for Maxim. With the unlimited healing and stat boosts of Wave Motion, he welcomes the damaging attack. Each time Shizel uses it, he gets stronger and stronger thanks to Dual Blade's powerful IP attack. Her other spells? Barely worth nothing, and easily deflected with a weak healing spell or a handy cheap healing IP. What else besides victory can await the champion of light against this wretched creature?

It was an act no one expected. An occurrence not seen before, which is to say, its that much LESS expected since people thought they saw everything.

But so it goes, Shizel was arrested on the spot by Official Child Protection Squad of the DL.

Why did this happen?

One can only assume it had to do with both Shizel and Maxim being parents, and that being possessed by an evil spirit that wants to destroy all isn't exactly the most fit for raising things, so as a result, Maxim HAD to report her.

Or just general random insanity, which is probably the more likely scenario, but whose to say?

It didn't exactly help that when Meredy was interrogated regarding her child hood, she was too busy playing with Quickee to really understand what was going on.

...but why does that matter? What DOES matter is Shizel is now forced to attend parenting and child care classes led by Paula of Twoson.
