After watching the rest of his cast take a shot in their respective divisions, it's time for Cress to test his mettle against some of the RPGDL's best. Facing off against the Prince of Grado, Lyon, Cress will be showcasing all of his fantastic talents - or would, if Lyon were a bit more creative in his magical arsenal. Lyon's entire offensive repertoire is darkness-based magic? Not smart. Sporting his Golden Armor, Cress can absorb the entirety of Lyon's offense with little trouble. There's not much else to this - the slow and frail prince, with no way to fight back, will fall victim to Cress's dreaded techniques in an instant.

Lyon, the mighty Necromancer of Grado and villain of Fire Emblem: the Sacred Stones...faces off against the hero from Tales of Phantasia. Talk about a match that is utterly cliche as far as crossovers go. But that shouldn't matter, as Lyon has on his side the mighty power of Naglfar, and it should take no more than two castings of this potent black magic to take down the sword-wielding hero. The back up of counters and good defensive stats to survive any assault the original Tales Hero may throw at him, of course, only help him further secure this victory for villains everywhere! Ride on, warriors of darkness!

He may have lost. He may have humiliated himself and his cast. He may have even involuntarily used a powerful healing spell on his opponent, but Lyon at least has the consolation that Eirika visited him in the infirmary. That made his day far more than any meager victory could. With such a perk, who was the *real* winner?
Still Cress, as it turns out. He got to celebrate a not-so-hard-earned win by going on a hot date with Mint.

As for Lyon and Cress, Lyon has staves to help him defend himself and heal while Eclipse wares cress down from long range, and Luna can ignore resistance. That's the thing about fire emblem black magic. If one tome won't work, another one most likely will
