...-That- was the best a so-called avatar of chaos could muster? Heh, pathetic. No wonder Yuber's nothing more than a cheap rental for the baddie of the day, and no match for Gades's unholy might. Vindication is always a good thing, and Gades has earned that and more this season. Succeeding where his fellow Sinstrals have so painfully failed before is quite refreshing. Hahahaha. Victory is all but assured for the Sinistral of Destruction, who, after far more menacing battles this season, gets to relax and grind some idiot child with a sword who relies on an airship to do anything to glorious dust. This won't be problematic - in fact, this could be called child's play. The fight will be a simple matter of preparing the usual Gades modus operandi for slaughter- a use of Undead to boost Gades's already frightening offense, then smashing Kharg with a single shot of Destroy. Boring? Inelegant? Sure, but it works. Just ask Yuber, Barbarossa, and Claus about it... if they're out of the hospital yet, that is.

Respect. That's all this has ever been about. After seasons of disasterous failures, it appears that the half-human half-deimos Kharg, prince of Nidellia, is about to finally earn that respect he has aimed for after seasons upon seasons. The Sinistral Gades is all that stands between him and recognition, and not even the nigh-immortal bringer of destruction will stop him. With lightning speed, Kharg can easily get the drop on Gades, and, past that, there's not much left to this fight. Kharg's Big Owl summoning will be more than enough to take out the Sinistral of Destruction, but even if that fails, the human hero has multiple tricks up his sleeve - with the ability to strengthen his own attacks like his opponent, a large arsenal of healing abilities and attacks to weaken the Sinistral's own power, there's not a thing Kharg doesn't hold as an advantage over his foe. It's taken nearly 40 seasons, but finally, Kharg will be able to add a championship victory to ranks once mired by failure - and that is the greatest reward of all.
