A world savior is the best an entire planet can produce. She is the one heroine that protects all others from the direst threats, the shining beacon of hope that outdoes evil itself. This is Anastasia's lot in life and she has the powers to back it up, something Eirika is about to find out firsthand. While Eirika relies only on her swordplay, Anastasia can match that with Argetlahm and then draw out her true powers. Anastasia can fight defensively, healing and increasing her evade and speed with Air Guard. While Eirika may be more agile at first, this advantage will erode away into a weakness, eventually outsped entirely by Anastasia. Then Impulse gets into it, massive damage that Eirika can't do much about. As Eirika focuses on evasion and not endurance, these blasts will quickly take the starch out of her sails. Finally, if all else fails, Anastasia can invoke Salvation, which will even restore her from a killing blow. With all these advantages, it's easy to see why Anastasia advances to the second round and Eirika will become just a foe defeated by the power of a united Filgaia. |

It's been awhile since Eirika has last entered the walls of the Dueling League. After having seen her brother's previous success, the princess of Renais will do all she can to match, or perhaps even best her brother's achievements. Her first adversary, Anastasia, is much reminiscent of the merciful princess' last defeat, as once again, as she did with Zog, she faces a former Godlike. However, things will be different. This time, she faces not a dark dragon emperor, but someone who has a bit more in common with her. Indeed, the Sword Saint and the Master Lord bear some rather striking resemblances to each other. Both these duelers have near-impeccable swordsmanship, and both wield a blade of legendary calibur. However, Eirika will beat the odds and prove to be the better of the two. A few quick thrusts and a dodge or two and that'll be the end of Anastasia, brought down by a blade dancing into her chest before she has the time to prepare for Eirika's assault. Time to make her father and brother proud in the arena proper, by earning herself a Heavy championship! |
Taishyr Eirika won by default, because Anastasia failed to show up. Ashley in a dress showed up instead. Indignant at this, Eirika ordered Seth to get in his tutu and charge the abombination. This was countered by Brad in a bikini. Further confusing the issue was Duessel showing up afterward with Ephraim, who were suddenly switched into little princess outfits as they charged into the fight, which had grown to include Rudy, Clive, a rather glum Jet, Riev, and Gerik, all in various forms of female attire. --- "Man. Setting up a Female Pervert Squadron? Getting Lucca and Luccia to help out, and getting Liz and Ard to further help with the promise of revenge? Great idea, Anastasia." Sharon giggled, munching on some chips. "Hey, when you get out as little as I do, you need all the good moments you g- ooh, nice pantyshot by Rennac there." Anastasia replied nonchalantly. "Indeed." Deis grinned, leaning back on a futon. "The mind-ray to make them act natural is a rather nice touch. And Eirika being willing to start the debacle by sending Seth in as well, in payment for winning the match? Brilliant. My dears, we may truly have a good idea on our hands, here."
