The princess of Renais stands tall and fierce after scoring a victory for the sake of her kingdom! Defeating the legendary Sword Magess Anastasia is no small feat, and the valorous princess shall prove herself further in the arena! To best the elf-like magician girl Alfina, she who managed to defeat the horrifying god Xorn, would be a great honor, and Eirika certainly has what it takes to do so. Alfina, while able to pull off a bevy of powerful tricks - physical immunity among them - is a bit physically frail, frail enough to be downed by a single double-assault from Eirika's Sieglinde. And Eirika, with her superior mobility, will get the first drop to do so. She -does- need to, in fairness, but with this guarantee in hand, the princess of Renais has nothing to fear. For the kingdom and for the people, she will succeed! |

She may not be winning any personality competitions in the arena this season, but Alfina is definitely one girl you don’t want and can't afford to be messing with in the dueling ring. Status immunity, a perfectly accurate paralysis spell, a stat crushing tech, and an anti-physical move all make Alfina a very well rounded dueler, capable of disabling anything that stands in her way this season. Of course, for this match, that anti-physical tech will be more than enough to seal Eirika’s fate. Sure, Eirika may get in a shot or two, but average durability Alfina has little to fear. While Siegliende may give Eirika steady damage, it’s less impressive with all those powerful triple damage crits flying around- crits which Siegliende isn’t known for racking up. All Alfina has to do is survive a turn; Holy Circle takes care of the rest. |
Monkeyfinger "I'm unfamiliar with your opponent..." Seth mused. "Newcomer, but a pretty frightening, monstrous one, if the mental state of her last opponent is any indication." Eirika nodded, and drew her Sacred Twin. "If she's as horrific as I hear, this holy relic of Renais will put a swift end to her." Eirika galloped into the arena and found herself face to face with a huge, shapeless black monster, with countless tentacles sprouting out. Nodding, she charged toward it, dodged a swarm of black orbs, gritted her teeth as an unerring beam of energy bloodily raked her, then stuck the vile creature twice with Siegilnde, landing a critical blow with the second strike and causing it to dissolve in a spectacular show of dissipating darkness and ear-piercing screams. "I heard your opponent is a mighty warrior, so I summoned some... help... to soften her up", Emelious said to his sister Alfina in the stands. He smiled. "Don't say I never did anything nice for y- WAIT, WHAT?" Emelious and Alfina listened to Xorn shriek in agony, and watched him break apart, right before their very eyes. They took one look at each other, nodded, and ran. Eirika was awarded a victory, overjoyed with her success and none the wiser as to what really happened. Eirika: 30 |
