Season 46, Week 1
Galcian
(Skies of Arcadia)

Valua's foremost Admiral is chortling gleefully at this luck this week. Things could not look better if he’d planned them. Galcian had the good fortune to not only draw a frail Suikoden mage, but also one who relies on evade to stave of physical abuse. That's of no use against the evade-ignoring Terminal. Sarah's healing can't match up against that, and that's assuming the frail rune mistress can survive a single blow from Galcian, a fact very much in doubt. What's not in doubt is that her Final Flame won't knock Galcian out in a single shot, and that is Sarah's only hope of victory. Any defensive skills will be handled by dispel, and Eternum is always lurking, in case a quick victory is required.

Sarah is far from a natural warrior. At heart, she has the gentle nature of a healer. And it is by employing her basic nature that Sarah might defeat her foe this week. The Valuan Admiral is capable of using Terminal over and again until his enemies are slain, but his advanced years and heavy weaponry have left him slow. By using her natural gift for healing, Sarah is quite capable of keeping ahead of Galcian's damage, and the speed with which she can do this should allow her ample openings to employ her Rage Rune against him. A stressful battle for one of Sarah's constitution perhaps, but a sound strategy more than capable of sending Galcian limping back to the motherland.

Boss or not, a Suikoden Mage is a Suikoden Mage. Those are not noted for Outstanding Durability in the face of papercuts, let alone a former Godlike's physical that also happens to ignore evasion. Sarah can.. uh.. burn things. Slightly.

Yeaaaaaaaaah try again, wench. Galcian's gonna kick your ass, kick Yuber's ass for trying to upstage him in the style department, then have Ramirez kick Luc's ass just for being Luc.
