Oh look, it's another uppity kid getting in Geshp's way. The Greater Devil is not fond of teenage heroes at all, since they remind him of a certain loss to a certain teenage hero back in his Godlike career that's best forgotten. Unfortunately for Yuffie, Geshp has a nasty tendency of smashing things he doesn't like into small frozen bits. Even more unfortunately, he has all the power he needs to do just that. His ability to cast Freeze 4 twice in one round should reduce her to a ninja-shaped ice sculpture in no time, and even she manages to protect herself from that, Geshp's powerful flail strikes are just as brutal. Geshp is making his way back to Godlike, and no puny ninja is going to stop him. Not in a million years.

About time! Since her loss to Zed in Season 33, Yuffie’s been waiting for another chance to prove herself in Heavy. The feisty ninja from Wutai brings quite a variety of skills to the table - with her versatile limit skills or the ability to throw sharp pointy objects, alongside with blocking Geshp's elemental damage with the Minerva Band, Yuffie has the right tools to win! It helps that her opponent is a snotty downgraded Godlike, so full of himself that he will underestimate her! Thanks to her trusty Throw skills, if Geshp fails to pay any real attention to Yuffie, he won’t know what hit him! And if things reeeeeeeeaaaaaaally get heated in this fight, oh well, Yuffie can just steal all of Geshp's prized belongings and make a run for it!

Unoriginal
Geshp is a Greater Devil, devious, clever, and not afraid to use any underhanded tactics he had at hand to win.
Yuffie is a ninja, trained to never, *ever* fight fair if she could at all help it.
Needless to say, the judges decided trying to keep them from interfering with each other was too much work, and made it the focus of the match instead, giving each of the competitors a windowless, sound-proofed room in which their various ambushes away from prying eyes.
Yuffie, to her credit, figured that she'd probably need a few back-up plans in case the old 'drop a cage on him and loot his stuff' plan didn't pan out and got to work.
As for Geshp? He decided to brush up on some old hobbies of his. It may sound odd, but there's only so long you can plan for world domination before you start rehashing same same tired old plots endlessly, and it pays to keep oneself busy when waiting the thousand years or so before your boss finally gets around to making his big comeback.
Picking up a few planks of wood, a hammer, and some nails, he got to work.
Meanwhile, Yuffie crumpled up the sheet of paper with her latest plan and tossed it into the ever growing Reject pile. Try as she might, she just couldn't think of a way to get him to pull one of those levers as opposed to just bashing her head in.
Geshp, having properly warmed up, was ready to move on to something more demanding. It was hard work, he reflected as he heaved the next brick into place, but sometimes it was more satisfying to do the job yourself instead of relying on the usual horde of minions.
Back to Yuffie, we find her placing the finishing touches on her plan. After abandoning the usual 'sucker the hero' plans, she quickly turned to more lethal means of keeping the foe down. Rolling up her final draft, she quickly got up to leave the room to gather the needed materials (though she still wasn't exactly sure where she'd be able to get *that* much razorwire on such short notice).
Smoothing out the last bit of wallpaper, Geshp beamed with pride at a job well done. And just in time too, judging from the muffled thumping and cursing he could just barely make out at the edge of his hearing. As Geshp walked off to take a well deserved break before heading to the arena to collect his victory, he affirmed to himself that, yes, overcomplicated death traps can be fun, most of the time the simple solution works best.
Of course, some people may not consider sneaking over to your opponent's room, boarding up the door, bricking it over, then concealing it so that only checking the floor plan would show that there was ever a door at that spot simple, but to each their own.
