With the power of half of a true rune in his fist, Riou is not a Heavy to be messed with in or out of the arena. With the power of his 107 friends, Riou can lay a magical smackdown that even durable Godlikes fear, and that makes multiple lesser Godlikes run screaming. Of course, Ershin may be a living tank in the most literal of ways, but she still doesn’t have the skill to stop the holder of the Shining Shield Rune. Forgiver Sign’s defense ignoring damage is the perfect way to get around Ershin’s myriad of special armors, and Riou’s excellent speed may mean that his robot opponent may not even get a chance to act. This tenkai star is determined to see that Ershin is sent back to the scrap heap. |

Ershin will assist! After years and years away from the arena, just waiting for her chance to prove herself as a Heavy, Ershin dons the sturdy armor and stylish purple cape of win once again to show the might of her magic! And she has quite a challenge ahead of her: Riou Genkaku, the bearer of the Bright Shield Rune, is well-known for the horrifying destructive power his Rune can wield: many a Godlike tremble upon the sight of Forgiver Sign. However, Ershin isn't a simple victim: with her impossibly sturdy armor frame, she can take a Forgiver Sign and grin - well, as much as a trashcan can grin. Afterwards, a casting of Death or two will put Riou out for good! Ershin will assist Heavy for sure! |
superaielman The everlasting mercy of Riou's Bright Shield rune fades to nothing when it's placed in competition with something. Normally it's the Black Sword Rune, the opposite half of the Rune of Beginning that compels it's user to fight no matter what. The DL arena is special, though- both Jowy and Riou are at peace with their runes here and are able to control it, meaning the full weight of one half of a rune able to grant eternal life or everlasting mercy can be brought to bear on the enemies of the Dunan Republic's founder. The display of power was put to use instantly in Riou's first fight in Heavy, as Forgiver Sign reduced Ershin to scrap metal, giving the robot an 0-1 record and the dubious honor of being unable to even land a single attack in his debut Heavy battle.
